Bon Jovi fans are getting a chance to be in the spotlight. Jon Bon Jovi and company have invited visitors to their official website to upload videos of themselves performing the band's 1986 single "Livin' On A Prayer." The best submissions will make their way to giant video screens at cities on Bon Jovi's "The Circle Tour." In addition to bragging rights and seeing their videos on the big screens, winners will also get deluxe prize packages from Bon Jovi that include limited edition souvenirs. This Friday, February 19th, the band plays the first of two dates at Seattle's Key Arena. The Circle Tour makes a stop in St. Paul on April 7th and 8th.

It seems like each year there is a new campaign to get you to stop messing up your brain with drugs. We can poke fun at the sometimes humorous ads, but according to the CDC, drug use over the decades is down...so they're working. As drug usage drops, ads are becoming more direct, more violent, and more dramatic. In the advertiser's defense, they are catering to a less receptive audience as time goes on.
