This news surprised me today. A majority of Americans -- and Louisianans -- are still in favor of offshore oil drilling. A new Rasmussen Reports poll shows that 60-percent of U.S. voters and 79-percent of voters in Louisiana believe companies should be allowed to continue with offshore drilling.

'Give me a woman who loves beer and I will conquer the world.'--Kaiser Welhelm

If you've ever wondered where I get my love of beer...you don't have to look very far. Here's my dad's 'beer garden' that he planted over the weekend. What the picture doesn't show is the bottle of Bud Light on top of the post that is equipped with a solar light bulb that illuminates the garden at night. Brilliant!!

Look up the word 'stupid' in the dictionary and here's the picture you'll see:

According to TMZ, Vince Neil was arrested for suspicion of DUI this morning in Las Vegas. He is currently in custody in Clark County Jail, where his bail has been set at $2,000. Neil's wife tells TMZ she is flying out to Las Vegas this morning to bail him out. You might remember that Vince Neil is no stranger to drinking and driving. In fact, he killed the Hanoi Rocks drummer, Nicholas Dingley, aka Razzle, in a drunk driving accident on December 8, 1984, while driving drunk to the liquor store. Honestly!! How hard is it to get a cab in Vegas?? Trust me...NOT VERY!! Nice job, Vince. Tons of money but you insist on driving drunk? Even after killing someone??

So, Gregg Allman got a new liver! Allman underwent a liver transplant Wednesday that doctors say may cure him of hepatitis. In a statement, Allman said he'd turned his life around, but liver damage led to doctors recommending a transplant. 'I changed my ways years ago, but we can't turn back time,' he said. 'Every day is a gift, and I can't wait to get back on the road making music with my friends.' It's always hard for me to answer the question, 'what's your favorite song?', but if I'm pressed to answer I will say it's 'I'm No Angel' by Gregg Allman. Here's to a speedy recovery!!

1. Don't upset the groom's new wife.

2. Make sure you don't upset the groom's new wife.

Here's a list that no one wants to be on. It's Forbes' list of the Most Disliked People in Sports. Actor Jeremy London said in a video message Tuesday that his report of being kidnapped at gunpoint and forced to use drugs was the truth, and described it as, quote, "one of the worst days of my life." The 37-year-old "Party of Five" actor said armed bandits abducted and robbed him and forced him to smoke drugs during a harrowing five hour ordeal in Palm Springs, California. I gotta tell you...it all sounds a little fishy to me. Especially since he is a drug addict.

Actors Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Aniston, and Sandra Bullock are Hollywood's sexiest singles. The "Eclipse" star is leading the way in the latest AccessHollywood.com "Hottest Bachelor" poll. With 32-percent of the vote, he just edges out Leonardo DiCaprio to take the top spot. Pattinson's "Twilight Saga" rival Taylor Lautner is coming in a rather distant third place as the choice of 23-percent. An even closer vote on the ladies' side leaves Aniston and the newly single Bullock in a tie for first place in AccessHollywood.com's "Hottest Bachelorette" poll, each with support from 30-percent of the respondents. Halle Berry follows at 24-percent, while ten-percent pick the also recently single Jenny McCarthy. Her ex Jim Carrey has fifth place among the men, behind NFL star and former "Dancing With the Stars" contender Chad Ochocinco. Rihanna rounds out the women's list.

In honor of all the dad's out there, I'll leave you with this little story I found:
'I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes (he is 86). We decided to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors - green, red, orange, and blue. My dad kept staring at him. The teenager kept looking and would find my dad staring every time. When the teenager had had enough, he sarcastically asked: 'What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?' Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response; I knew he would have a good one! In classic style he responded without batting an eyelid ..'Got stoned once and screwed a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son.'
