My friends from the Coulee Region Chill will be 'Steppin' Onto The Rink For Steppin' Out In Pink' against the Aberdeen Wings on January 21st (5pm) and 22nd (7pm) to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. Special Pink Chill jerseys will be worn by the players during both games and then auctioned off after Saturday's game. Proceeds from the auction will go to Gundersen Lutheran's Norma J. Vinger Center for Breast Care. Wear pink and have fun!

Speaking of hockey, ever see a hockey puck split in half on a shot off the post? Me either...til now! Check out this video as 19-year-old defenseman Andrew Prochno of the Sioux Falls Stampede fires a slap shot from the blue line that hit the goal post so hard that it exploded on impact. The announcer made a good point, do you get a 1/2 goal if part of the puck goes in?

Do you consider yourself a music aficionado? I do...or I did up until a minute ago! That's when I saw this list called The 15 Songs You Didn't Know Were Covers. While I knew about a couple, most of the songs on the list surprised me. For instance, did you know that Cum On Feel The Noize by Quiet Riot was originally done by Slade? I didn't. Or that Joan Jett's I Love Rock and Roll was first released by a band called The Arrows? Mhmmm. How'd you do?
