My heart is heavy today after learning of the death of Avery Valentine. I got to know Avery and his family 3 years ago through my work with the Children's Miracle Network and they have been an inspiration to me ever since. I can't imagine the pain and sense of loss Avery's family is going through right now. It's something no parent should have to face. Rest in peace sweet Avery.
