'You've got to create a dream. You've got to uphold the dream. If you can't, go back to the factory or go back to the desk.'-Eric Burdon

Happy 70th birthday to Eric Burdon! Love him! My husband and I were in Vegas about 15 years ago. It was about 3 o'clock in the morning and we were playing at a slot machine at the Tropicana. Then, low and behold, in walks Eric Burdon with his entourage. He looked older and his hair was white but it was definitely him. They played black jack for about a half hour. This was before camera phones so I was bummed that I couldn't get a picture. I didn't ask for an autograph either. Just stalked (I mean stared at) him the whole time! *sigh*

I always find it amusing when my friends on Facebook get into details about their upcoming vacations. Talk about an invitation for all area thieves to ransack your house! There are all kinds of ways your behavior on Facebook can get you in trouble. Friending people you don't know, sharing details of new purchases, your address and vacation plans can come back to bite you. Here from the Safe Internet Alliance is a list of What Not to Post on Facebook.

Here's a tearjerker for you. Meet Jaydin Goldenstien. With the weight of the world seemingly on his shoulders, the Colorado high school baseball player turned in one of the most amazing--and clutch--performances imaginable.
Jaydin threw a no-hitter in the first game of a double-header and then proceeded to hit four home runs in the second game after switching to shortstop. What made the performance so incredible, though, is that it came two days after his mother had passed away, with his team needing to win both games in order to secure a league title. The
video will give you the warm fuzzies.

Speaking of tearjerkers. We've all seen athletes cry before. It's easy to get emotional out there as tensions run high and sometimes there's a lot on the line. But there's also those times you can't help but to laugh at some athletes who cry when you kind of realize they shouldn't have. The videos I'm sharing here are not these types of examples. These are moments where the athletes should have cried and had every right to. Remember when we cried along with Brett Favre?
