'When you're around someone good, your own standards are raised.'-Ritchie Blackmore

Hey there! Thanks for checking out my blog today. I went to bed early last night and didn't watch a bit of the game. The only thing I heard was a big 'YEAH!!!' from the living room, which is when I assume Mr. Favre threw the interception that ended the game. Some things never change.

Remember this guy? The Cigar Guy from that famous Tiger Woods shot?

Well, he's been unmasked!! Meet Rupesh Shingadia, a 30-year-old investment analyst in London -- and a very reluctant star.

Rupesh said his costume was a tribute to Spanish golfer Miguel Angel Jimenez.

Speaking of photo bombing, does the name
Paul Cole ring a bell? Paul Cole was in one of the most famous photographs of the 20th century, and yet he wasn't famous. He is clearly seen in the famous shot of the Beatles walking across London's Abbey Road, used as the front cover of the group's classic 1969 album, "Abbey Road." See him?

"I just happened to look up, and I saw those guys walking across the street like a line of ducks," Cole remembered. "A bunch of kooks, I called them, because they were rather radical-looking at that time. You didn't walk around in London barefoot." About a year later, Cole first noticed the album on top of the family record player. He did a double-take when he eyeballed McMillan's photo. "I had to convince the kids that that was me for a while. I told them, 'Get the magnifying glass out, kids, and you'll see it's me.' Unfortunately, we won't be seeing Mr. Cole at Beatlefest anytime soon, as he died in 2008 at the age of 96.

Wow, isn't science great! Canine psychologists have confirmed what many pet owners have long suspected: some dogs have a more gloomy outlook on life than others. The unusual insight emerged from a study into how dogs behave when separated from their owners. Here's a picture of a pessimistic and an optimistic dog. Can you tell the difference?

Seriously though. The study was real and you can read about it here.

Saw a picture of Glenn Frey the other day and was surprised. When did he morph into an old man? Many rock idols back from the 1960s, '70s and '80s are still on stage while some have retired from music and live a peaceful life now. Of course, they all have gone through many things and changed a lot. Take a look at Famous Rock Stars Then And Now. You know who looks better now than he did then? Meatloaf. Seriously, check it out for yourself.
