From StormTeam 8: The high temperature Monday in La Crosse was 96 degrees, breaking the record of 93 degrees set in 1987. StormTeam 8 is forecasting a high of 99 degrees Tuesday, but temperatures could easily reach triple digits. Wisconsin Emergency Management is reminding residents to stay safe in the hot, humid weather. The Coulee Region Humane Society says it's also a good idea to make sure your pets and other animals have plenty of water and have a cool place to be in the heat.=
