'Rock and Roll: Music for the neck downwards'. Keith Richards

Welcome to my blog rock and rollers! I hope you're having a great weekend. The countdown to Rockfest has begun! Both my husband and I are concert FREAKS and Rockfest gives us the chance to see so many awesome live shows. Who am I looking forward to seeing the most? That's a tough one. I am really excited to see Sheryl Crow. But the new Buckcherry cd really ROCKS and I can't wait to see them too. So many wonderful choices!

It's the video everyone is talking about. What happens when a tornado crosses the path of a moving freight train? This amazing video shows the result. Hundreds of tons of steel vs. one of nature's fiercest phenomenons. Once the rain starts coming down, there's no turning back. (Action begins just short of the 1 minute mark.)

Interesting stories of Strange Deaths from the Last 30 Years. The story of the guy who jumped into scalding hot water at Yellowstone to save a dog is quite disturbing--because I could totally see me doing something STUPID like that.

I wanted to share this hilarious video with you. It features a very young and very British Hugh Laurie interviewing 'Michael Jackson'. It's a very funny spoof from the 80's BBC comedy show 'A Bit of Fry & Laurie'. PS: I've loved Hugh Laurie ever since he played the dad on Stuart Little!

Just because you're in the Army doesn't mean you can't have a little fun!

It's a blast from the past with not one but two 70's sitcom actors recently being arrested for DUI. First it was Janet from Threes' Company (Joyce DeWitt) and now it's the Big Ragoo himself, Carmine Ragusa from Laverne and Shirley (Eddie Mekka). In the words of celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, 'who's next? Potsie from Happy Days?" PS: I've noticed that not too many people take a good mug shot.
