Hey there! Thanks for checking out my blog. Kind of a bittersweet day today. My nephew, Seth, celebrates his 20th birthday today! Happy Birthday Sprout. Seth is also on his way today to begin basic training at Fort Leonard Wood (or Fort Lost in the Woods as it's known) Missouri. Good luck Seth and God speed!!

The theatrical release of the rock biopic "The Runaways" over the weekend has inspired the editors at "Rolling Stone" to ask reader's to help them compile a list of favorites from the movie genre. "Runaways," which tells the story of the all-girl band led by Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, didn't make the list, however. The Bob Dylan biopic "I'm Not There" took the top spot. Get the rest of the list here.

Are you a golfer who will try anything to improve your game? Then maybe you should try this. The Swingless Golf Club. According to the website, the club "eliminates the frustration - and for some, the physical pain - of long drives.' The secret? A teeny, tiny bit of gun powder. Brilliant! I wonder how far the ball would go if you DID swing! Now that would be fun!=

Here's a cool video I found today on how to make trick dice. Seriously. Just a little heat can guarantee that you'll roll the number you want every time. Sweet! Anyone up for a game of craps??

Is your family a Flarp Family? Ours is. That means that at one time or another each one of us (yes, even the cat) has stuck our fingers (or paws) into the container of Flarp--the icky, gooey, noise-making goop--and made disgusting noises until everyone else laughed. What can I say, we're easily entertained. If you want a laugh this afternoon, check out this video of a little baby's reaction to his brother's Flarping. It's the BEST laugh ever! And very contagious!
Both of these boys would fit in seamlessly with my clan!
