I've been having major computer issues lately. I've been fantasizing about throwing it out our back window and watching it break into pieces on the parking lot below. Breaking things to vent frustration is a normal phenomenon when people get upset, but usually such behavior would be stopped by others. Recently a shopping mall in China opened a special store for people to break all kinds of things to relieve pressure and bad moods. The best thing about this store? It's for women only! All the facilities in the store are real, such as second-hand mobile phones and second-hand television sets they purchased from $4 to $15 each. In addition, customers can tear paper, throw plates and beat big beanbags to vent their frustrations. BRILLIANT! Who's up for a road trip to China?

Do you have a nickname for your favorite store or restaurant? When I worked at Red Lobster, I called in 'Dead Lobster'. And of course, Wal-Mart has always been Wally World at our house. Here is a funny list of popular nicknames for some famous places. I love the nickname for TGI- Friday's. 'Flair'. Ha!!

Are you a perfectionist? You may just be on your way to an early grave! In a recent study, those with high perfectionism scores, meaning they placed high expectations on themselves to be perfect, had a 51-percent increased risk of death compared to those with low scores. The researchers suspect high levels of stress and anxiety, which are known to be linked with perfectionism, might contribute to the decrease in lifespan. I KNEW it! It pays to be a slacker!!

There must be more than a few slackers in Mississippi. Because for the fifth year running, Mississippi clinched yet another unwanted distinction of being the fattest state of 2010. A whopping 70% of Mississippians are overweight, with more than 33% of them being downright obese. The skinniest state? Colorado. Who wins the skinny race between Wisconsin and Minnesota? It's close...but Wisconsin is apparently more rotund than Minnesota.

I guess I should have passed on that second hamburger this weekend...
